Our Story
Gina began her journey in fashion at the age of 15, working at her mother’s iconic boutique, EL CID, at The Oberoi Towers, Nariman Point, Mumbai. There, she witnessed women from across the world transformed by the right colours, fabrics and silhouettes. That early exposure shaped what remains the foundation of our philosophy today:
Clothes Give Confidence.
After formally studying Fashion and Textile Design at Sophia College, Gina refined her technical mastery while working closely with clients. In 1989, she launched her independent label with a collection of 120 hand-painted cotton mulmul Anarkalis created in collaboration with leading Mumbai artists. The collection sold out within days — marking the beginning of a distinguished couture legacy.
Today, ORGANZZA continues that legacy with the same commitment to artistry and exclusivity.

As a founder-led label, ORGANZZA reflects the strength and resilience of its creative head. Gina Sanjay Gadhvi, wife of the late acclaimed filmmaker Sanjay Gadhvi (director of the blockbuster Dhoom), continues to lead the brand with unwavering dedication and artistic integrity.
Her experience as an Atelier for over 35 years has shaped ORGANZZA into a house of bespoke luxury — where each piece is approached with discipline, detail and heart.
